About the wine
The St. Stephen location is named after St. Stephen's Chapel, which formed the church center - albeit located outside - of the village of Asselheim from the 13th century to 1819.

Tasting note
An extremely complex and profound Riesling, which, thanks to its high minerality, retains its freshness and lightness even after years in the bottle, which combine perfectly with the fruit.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with vegetables, poultry, asparagus, fish.
Vinification
Some vines are over 50 years old. Of course, the yield is low due to the barren soil; in addition, the grapes are cut in half and selected again before harvesting. Spontaneous fermentation and aging partly in Burgundian wood.
