I didn't really want to produce an entry-level wine, but rather a gateway drug. I want it to really start right away. And that's what it works
This dark ruby red Zweigelt with violet reflections delights with its fruity aromas of black cherry, sour cherry and ripe wild berries. On the palate, again, a lot of fruit underpinned by soft melting, a pleasant spiciness, velvety tannins and a slight extract sweetness. Zweigelt can taste so beautiful
Culinary recommendation
With light meat dishes, Austrian specialities such as Wiener Schnitzel, poultry, vegetarian dishes, grilled food, pizza, pasta, etc.
Vinification
The grapes for this Zweigelt mainly come from the Kart vineyard. After manual harvesting, natural yeasts are spontaneously fermented in 2000l stainless steel tanks. Biological acid degradation and further ageing on the fine yeast takes place partly in stainless steel tanks and partly in small oak barrels.
