About the wine

The “Yarden T2”, a port-style wine, shows seductive aromas of ripe red and black fruits, with nuances of spices, earth, herbs, flowers and a touch of French oak. Its delicate and full body with an interesting flavor give the wine a long and persistent finish. The sweet wine is made from a blend of two well-known Portuguese grape varieties; Touriga Nacional and Tinto Caõ. The grapes come from vineyards located on the central and southern Golan Heights. During fermentation, it is mixed with brandy, which preserves the natural sweetness. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels for 32 months. A “Yarden T2” will mature for several years under suitable conditions and remain in excellent drinking condition. Pair the wine with a hearty chocolate cake, dried fruit, or roasted nuts.
