About the wine
Treat yourself to the senses with the first-class Xinomavro from 2018! The wine-growing regions of the Greek winery Alpha Estate extend across the countryside in Macedonia, where the experienced winemaker produces this red wine.

Tasting note
Bright purple-red color. Complex, typical bouquet of small berries, red fruits, leather and spices (vanilla, pepper, clove), with a hint of ripe blackberries. Full mouth, rounded tannins, balanced acidity and well-integrated wood tones. Long aftertaste with intense quince aroma.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: The ideal drinking temperature for red wine is a slightly chilled 16°-18°C.
Vinification
Destemming, no squeezing, cold soaking - skin contact, alcoholic fermentation at gradually rising temperatures, maintaining the wine “sur lies” for eight months with regular stirring. Twelve months in French oak barrels, medium-grained, white roasted and twelve months in bottle.
