Verduno Pelaverga is a rare red wine from the municipality of Verduno. Einaudi owns 0.5 hectares there and only produces 4000 bottles per year.

Tasting note
Verduno Pelaverga is a new wine from Poderi Luigi Einaudi. This grape variety is almost completely unknown outside Piedmont. Pelaverga is an independent wine, with a bright ruby red color. The bouquet features fresh strawberry and floral aromas and spicy, peppery notes. The wine is juicy and has a graceful tannin structure and at the same time a pleasant acidity.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with antipasti and pasta, but also with grilled fish.
Vinification
Controlled fermentation in steel tanks at around 26°C for 7 - 9 days. The aging process will also take place in steel for a further 6 months.
