Tasting note
The Tokara Directors Reserve White is presented in the glass of delicate straw color and delightful brilliance. It exudes a beguiling complex bouquet of ripe passion fruit and pink grapefruit. There are also pleasant notes of lemongrass, elderflowers and freshly baked brioche. On the palate of remarkably luscious, full-bodied taste, the aromas already absorbed by the nose unfold in the form of irresistible flavors. On the finish, the wine ends with immense clarity and depth. A white masterpiece of brilliant wine craftsmanship.
Culinary recommendation
It goes best with creamy seafood dishes with saffron or grilled white fish.
Vinification
The grapes were destemmed, ground and immediately pressed in our inert press. The pressed juice and the initial juice were kept separately and clarified overnight before the clean juice was removed. Only pre-run juice from the best plots is used for this wine. The juice was then inoculated and filled into 400-liter barrels for fermentation. All barrels used are made from French oak, 31% of which are new. After fermentation, the barrels were filled up and stored on the yeast for 9 months, stirring the yeast regularly.
