About the wine
Cattleya Wines is the result of Bibiana González-Raves' great love for wine. Born in Colombia, she learned her craft in France before settling down in California after a few more stops and began pressing her own wines. Their constant goal is to breathe soul and character into the wines, which reflect the uniqueness of the terroir.

Tasting note
On the nose, this Syrah has notes of blueberries, blackberries, cherries, pepper and garrigue herbs. On the palate, it is medium to full bodied, with fine tannins, slight saltiness and fresh acidity.

Vinification
Fruit harvested by hand early in the morning. Gentle extraction of color and tannin by pumping around daily until fermentation was complete. The wine is then aged for 16 months in 75% new French oak barrels.
