About the wine
The South Tyrolean Weissburgunder “Karneid” DOC from the Franz Gojer — Glögglhof winery is an outstanding white wine from South Tyrol. The grapes grow on west-facing slopes in Karneid, at an altitude of 550 to 600 meters, on light, sandy porphyry soils with glacial deposits of granite, basalt and gneiss.

Tasting note
Ripe apples and pears mix with melons and a touch of fine vanilla notes. Concentrated and with beautiful strength and abundance, rich in finesse and clear in its own way. Despite partial wood construction, its structure is fresh and lively.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with salads, summer pasta dishes, asparagus, grilled fish, seafood and raw fish.
Vinification
Handpicked and transported in large boxes. whole grape pressing. Natural sedimentation of the must for at least 48 hours at 6°C. Slow, controlled fermentation in steel tanks and in barrique barrels. Store on fine yeast until spring.
