About the wine
Saint Joseph is a promising appellation in the northern part of the Rhône that is just really growing. The AOC makes around 90% red wine from Syrah grapes and 10% white wine from Marsanne grapes. The appellation stretches along the western bank of the Rhône from Condrieu to St-Pérey on the southern border. There are currently around 850 hectares of vineyards in total.

Tasting note

Culinary recommendation
Goes well with pasta with fish sauce, fish with delicate flavor, pasta with fish sauce.
Vinification
95% Marsanne, supplemented by some Roussanne — both grape varieties come from the same vineyard with old vines (40-50 years). The grapes are pressed directly and placed in the barrel after a short rest period. Early harvesting ensures that the fresh acidity of Marsanne is retained — as an invigorating counterpoint to the power of wine. In the glass, it shines in bright yellow with greenish reflections. On the palate, it is voluminous, complex and yet harmonious — with a long, balanced finale.
