About the wine
The grapes for this white wine from Dario Princic come from 60-year-old vineyards. They are planted on marly, sandstone-rich soils, are grown organically and have a low yield per hectare. Fermentation takes place with local yeasts, which are naturally present on the skins, in open wooden barrels, where the wine then macerates on the skins for about a week until it reaches its characteristic amber color. It matures in large wooden barrels for about 30 months and is bottled without filtration and with no or only minimal amounts of sulfur dioxide.
