About the wine
This Syrah takes its name from a character in one of Raoul Beaumont's favorite novels The Ginger Man, written by JP Donleavy. When Sebastian was born, Jayne and Raoul tried to use it as a middle name for him. Unfortunately, the grandparents were indignant and vetoed the decision. A wine has finally received the honor.

Tasting note
Good color, spicy fruit and pepper on the nose and aromas of soft fruits with fine ripe tannins on the finish make this wine a full but elegant wine.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with spicy red meat.
Vinification
Picked at 22° - 23.5° Balling, shredded and cold soaked for 3 days to achieve optimal color and flavor. The various vineyards were fermented separately, with all parts subjected to natural fermentation to add complexity to the final blend. 30 to 40% whole grapes were added to the ferment. Malolactic fermentation in tank and then brought to barrel. 20 months in barrel. 100% French oak and 25% in new barrels.
