About the wine
With this provocative Sauvignon Blanc 2020 — Sauvignon Quarz Alto Adige DOC, the term taste takes on a new meaning. Picturesque and fertile landscapes in South Tyrol give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Terlan conjures up this white wine with refinement and sensitivity. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you offer this Sauvignon Blanc with white meat or mussels.

Tasting note
Sparkling yellow-green in the glass. On the nose, a tempting scent of exotic fruits such as mango, papaya, lime and red grapefruit. The bouquet is complemented by herbal aromas such as lemongrass, lemon balm, mint, and some green tea is also recognizable. Sauvignon quartz also reveals a touch of gooseberry and flint. On the palate, the juicy fruit aromas combine with the delicate minerality to create a remarkably harmonious richness that gives us a long aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with seafood, fish, risotto, lamb, asparagus dishes, aged cheese.
Vinification
Harvest and select grapes by hand. Gentle squeezing of whole grapes and clarifying the must through natural sedimentation of the turbid substances. Slow fermentation at controlled temperature and maturation for 9 months on fine yeast in partly large wooden barrels (50%) and partly in stainless steel tanks (50%). Assemblage three months before bottling.
