About the wine
Cottinelli was founded in 1868 in Chur as a small Italian colonial goods store that increasingly specialized in wine. This eventually gave rise to the wine house Cottinelli, which moved to Malans in the 1970s. Today, Cottinelli attaches great importance to natural production and high-quality wine, which starts in the vineyard. Thanks to sustainable methods and continuous improvements, the wines reach new record levels year after year.

Tasting note
Soft yellow with greenish reflections. On the nose, an elegant bouquet of fine citrus notes, vanilla and exotic fruits unfolds. On the palate, this Sauvignon Blanc is full-bodied, round and complex, with impressive melting and intense fruitiness.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with white meat with rich sauces, sushi, grilled vegetables or even soufflé.
Vinification
The juice ferments in barriques to optimally bring out the characteristic aromas of the grape variety. The wine is then aged for 12 months in partly new and partly used barriques. Storage in wood provides additional structure and complexity, while the effect of wood remains pleasantly restrained.
