About the wine
Blooming and sunny landscapes in Apulia give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Domiziano San Marco conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. This provocative Negroamaro 2013 — Salice Salentino Riserva DOP is a triumph down to the last drop in the truest sense of the word! Tasting note
The Salice Riserva shines with a strong ruby red color in the glass. On the nose, it is very open with hints of blackcurrants, licorice and vanilla. On the palate, wonderfully integrated tannin and a flattering melt. Harmonious with an intense fruity finish.

Vinification
After two weeks of maceration at 27°C in horizontal stainless steel rotating tanks, the Salice Riserva matures for 9 to 12 months in Allier and Tronçais oak barrels, followed by 12 months in the bottle.
