About the wine
Blooming and sunny landscapes in Puglia give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Torleanzi conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. This provocative Negroamaro 2020 — Salice Salentino DOP is a triumph down to the last drop in the truest sense of the word! Tasting note
The Salice Salentino is deep ruby red with slight garnet reflections. On the nose, intense aromas of dark berries, sultanas, ripe plums and spicy notes of licorice and some roasted almonds are pleasing. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and well-structured, with lots of sweet fruit, spicy notes of coffee and black pepper, well-incorporated acidity and velvety tannins. An extremely fruity, spicy and harmonious wine from southern Italy.
