About the wine
In 2011, Patric du Jeu and his uncle took over the Domaine Les Héritiers de Saint-Genys in Chassagne-Montrachet, in the heart of Burgundy. The winery attaches great importance to careful vineyard care and terroir-oriented winemaking. Particularly noteworthy is the monopoly location Le Clos Marcilly in Mercurey, which belongs to the Domaine.

Tasting note
Complex, complex nose of white flowers, ripe pears, plus fine roasted aromas. On the palate, silky texture and fine-grained acidity, dense and mineral, end in a long-lasting finish.
Culinary recommendation
A wonderful accompaniment to poultry dishes — from white meats such as chicken breast or dung scrapers to more intensive varieties such as turkey, quail and so on.
Vinification
Carefully picked in small boxes, then the grapes are quickly transported to the cellar. Whole grape pressing, then fermentation and aging of small oak barrels for 21 months.
