About the wine
Rumo Incerto Reserva, a journey through the old vineyards of the Alentejo, produces this unique field blend, in which part is aged in French oak barrels and another part has been fermented and aged in amphoras. This Rumo Incerto combines the certainty of a serious, well-made wine with the wild nature of Brettanomyces Dekkera yeast — and shows that a “mistake” can also be a virtue.

Tasting note
Concentrated ruby red A touch of red fruit, some black pepper, leather and tobacco leaf. Textured, fresh and rich in tannins Dry, strict and very long aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with fatty meats, braised or slow-cooked meat dishes, game and strong cheese.
Vinification
The grapes were harvested and selected by hand. After selection and squeezing, they were transported into the tanks by gravity. The fermentation containers were also filled by gravity. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation took place spontaneously. Some were fermented and aged in old Alentejo amphoras, the rest in French oak barrels. The secondary fermentation on the mash took 2 months.
