About the wine
If Valentine's Day was a wine, it would definitely be the outstanding Sangiovese 2019 — Rosso di Montalcino DOC. The fertile and blooming Tuscan landscapes give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Siro Pacenti conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. Flaschenpöstler culinary tip: This Sangiovese is excellent to serve with pasta or lamb.

Tasting note
Strong aroma of dark berries, plums, with spicy roasted aromas of cinnamon. On the palate, full-bodied and with an impressive presence and the typical Tuscan acid structure. Carafing is recommended at a young age.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with pasta dishes with hearty sugo, wild boar stew, rabbit or poultry roast.
Vinification
100% Sangiovese Grosso, aged between 15 and 25 years. Aging for 12 months in barriques, then bottled unfiltered and aged further in the bottle.
