About the wine
The Capanna farm, owned by the Cencioni family since 1957, is located north of Montalcino in the Montosoli area. The area covered with vines is around 12 hectares, while a further 11 hectares bear olive trees. The excellent location and rocky soil, combined with the dry and airy climate, produce full-bodied and finesse wines. The rigorous quantity limit ensures a very high quality of the reading material.
Tasting note
The spicy aromas of black pepper, spices and tobacco express a lot of finesse with a very individual structure. Next, the playful nuances of red plum, strawberry and fig reveal their own character. Strong body and outstanding acidity result in the red wine, which shows a lot of character and class with dominant tannins in the mouth.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: The red wine tastes best at a slightly chilled 16°-18°C. The following period is the ideal enjoyment phase for this wine: 3 - 7 years after harvest. Flaschenpöstler-Tipp: Goes well with pasta, lamb and pizza.

The expansion took place in a steel tank.
