About the wine
Fertile and blooming landscapes in Veneto give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Rubinelli Vajol conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. We have a special, dominant Corvina from 2010 for you, which is a source of enthusiasm among many wine connoisseurs. Tasting note
The Ripasso Corte SantAnna delights with its strong ruby red. The nose impresses with typical aromas of dried fruits, raisins, dark berries and some tobacco. On the palate, it is again very fruity and spicy with a slightly sweet tip, round tannins and a velvety mouthfeel. An extremely fruity ripasso for every occasion.

Wonderful with Italian specialities such as pizza and pasta, barbecues, hearty meat dishes or aged hard cheese
Vinification
“Ripasso translates as much as “another passage.” This is also how a ripasso is made. After fermentation of Valpolicella is complete, the young wine is fermented again on unpressed grape skins from Amarone production. This process gives Valpolicella more body, more character and more flavor. The Corte Sant Anna is fermented in steel tanks and then aged for 12 months in large wooden barrels. In contrast to the more complex Ripasso Classico from Rubinelli, Corte SantAnna also buys grapes from friendly winemakers and the wine is aged in wood for a little less time.”
