Riesling Smaragd Ried Vom Stein 2021 - Nikolaihof Wachau

The Riesling Smaragd Vom Stein comes from loess soils, which give the wine strength, depth and at the same time a fine, cool minerality. On the nose, it is complex and multi-layered, with notes of almond and hazelnut, accompanied by ginger and a fine saltiness. On the palate, a caramel-rich, concentrated middle is combined with subtle tertiary nuances that give the wine additional depth. Despite its glycerin-rich, round texture, it retains the typical firmness and steely elegance of Riesling. Very clear and precise, with a distinct spiciness and a long, salty finish.
