About the wine
Since 1986, Clemens and Rita Busch have been running the winery in Pünderich according to strict organic viticulture criteria. Its most important principles are the conservation and sustainable use of biological diversity and the respectful treatment of the environment. The various sites are characterized by an enormous variety of different types of slate and are among the best that can be found on the Moselle.

Tasting note
The wine has a characteristic aroma of the gray slate terroir, which is reflected in notes of citrus, white peach and mineral nuances. On the palate, it is finely structured, lively and has a distinctive freshness, which is complemented by a long, mineral finish.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with fish dishes, light meat dishes or aged cheeses. Also ideal as an accompaniment to light, spicy dishes and Asian cuisine.
Vinification
The grapes are picked and selected by hand to ensure the highest quality. After spontaneous fermentation, it is aged in large wooden barrels, which give the wine structure and a finely nuanced aroma profile. The Marienburg location is known for its gray slate soil, which gives the wine an unmistakable minerality and supports its ability to mature.
