About the wine
The stately estate in Flemlingen was owned by the Counts von der Leyen until the 16th century. The Minges family has been managing the property for eight generations now and, according to their own statement, is associated with the fascination of winemaking. Their goal is to skilfully bottle the minerality of the diverse soils and the character of the grape varieties.

Tasting note
Fresh on the nose, with lots of citrus fruit, apricots, nectarine and a touch of broken rock. Straightforward, sleek and cool on the palate, with juicy acidity and salty minerality on the finish.

Flaschenpöstler-Tipp: Riesling Buntsandstein Trocken passt perfekt zu Ente, Pilzen und asiatischem Essen.
Vinification
After manual harvesting, the selected grapes are kept cool for six hours. After gentle pressing, fermentation takes place in a temperature-controlled stainless steel tank. The wine ages on fine lees for the following six months before being bottled in spring.
