About the wine
We've fought our way through the joyless world of non-alcoholic wines — dreadful! And then: Kolonne Null. Moritz Zyrewitz and Philipp Rössle make non-alcoholic wine in Berlin that finally tastes good. No flour, but really good grapes, lots of experimentation and gentle vacuum distillation. Alcohol is secondary here — but the pleasure is all the greater!

Tasting note
Scalpel - it cuts so wonderfully fine, you don't even notice that it's a cut. The bare blade with such a beautiful soft play of light sometimes very bright, whitish, green, sometimes yellow reflections, this Riesling fruit, slightly sulfurous. Silky smooth on the palate, like a buttery cut, this fine, ripe acidity glides so easily through the tart green, fresh slate Riesling fruit. Great how prickly, light and silky such a dry, dry Riesling can be without booze.
Culinary recommendation
Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: Riesling Alkoholfrei goes well with Indian cuisine, Asian food and mushrooms.
Vinification
Base wine from Axel Pauly from Lieser from the Moselle. The alcohol is removed using the vacuum distillation process at just 28 degrees, which preserves the natural aromas.
