About the wine

SEI SOLO is a project that Javier Zaccagnini started in 2007 from four small vineyards. An oenological homage to the great opus by Johann Sebastian Bach, one of his favorite works. As former managing director of Bodegas AALTO, he worked quietly on his Duero, the wine that best suits his personal taste in terms of nuances, finesse and elegance.

Tasting note
Deep ruby red in the glass. On the nose, aromatic notes of red and black fruits, cocoa and subtle roasted aromas. On the palate, the Preludio is velvety, with perfectly integrated acidity and soft tannin. The wine has very good storage potential, but is also a lot of fun even at a young age.
Culinary recommendation
Beef, vegetables, lasagna
Vinification
The wine is vinified in 2500 liters of Foudre. After malolactic fermentation, each batch is transferred to 225, 500 and 600 liter French barrels, which are 2 to 6 years old. The subsequent expansion takes place over 18 months. In the end, careful selection is used to decide which barriques are bottled as Sei Solo or Preludio.
