About the wine

Tasting note
As soon as the Plozza IGT is uncorked, it smells outrageously intense - of ripe black cherries, cassis, raisins, delicate vanilla and fine black chocolate, as well as Christmas spices.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with red meat, game dishes, mature cheese, pizzoccheri, lamb and duck.
Vinification
The Nebbiolo grapes come from almost hundred-year-old vines and are dried for three months before pressing. The aging takes place over 24 months in new French wooden barrels, initially ten months in the first new barrique, followed by fourteen months in the second new barrel — a method known as “200% barrique”.
