About the wine
An elegant South African Pinot Noir with aromas of red berries, cherries and subtle spicy notes. Its fine acidity and soft tannins give it a harmonious structure. A versatile accompaniment to poultry, mushroom dishes or mild cheese.

Tasting note
The Pinot Noir aromas of mushrooms and caramel candy express a lot of finesse with a very individual structure. Afterwards, the refreshing nuances of raspberry, cherry and vanilla reveal their own character. Medium-strong body and dominant acidity result in the fruity red wine, which, pleasantly with fine tannins in the mouth, shows a lot of character and class.

Flaschenpöstler tip: Pinot Noir goes well with duck, red meat and salmon.
Vinification
Information about vinification: Our Pinot Noir comes from the smallest vineyard on the farm - a 1-hectare block that only delivers enough grapes for a few barrels each year. The grapes were peeled and fermented in stainless steel at 18 degrees Celsius. After drying, the wine was aged for 14 months in French oak with a second filling.
