About the wine
Azienda Sturm is, with a few others, one of the elite wine producers in the Collio region. For wine connoisseurs, this area is the best white wine region in Italy. Sturm means Tempesta. The white label stands for organic wines with spontaneous fermentation and aging in wood. A free, spontaneous motif was chosen for the label: a children's doodle depicting a Sturm that is as natural and unique as it occurs in nature.

Vinification
This Pinot Grigio is something very special. Thanks to maceration, it takes on this wonderful 'occhio di pernice' (partridge eye) color, but also many aromatic notes associated with the contact of the must with the skins. Obviously, the aim here is not strength and extreme maceration, as in Oslavia, but a much fresher and more delicate result. After straining, the grapes are macerated at a controlled temperature for a few hours. This enables delicate and effective extraction without oxidation. After maceration, natural fermentation begins, followed by aging in medium to large barrels for around 8 months.
