Tasting note
The Per Alice Riserva is presented in deep ruby red glass with garnet reflections. On the nose, complex aromas of ripe black cherries, blackberries and plums develop, accompanied by fine notes of cedarwood, tobacco, spices and a delicate roasted aroma. On the palate, the wine is powerful and concentrated, with velvety, well-integrated tannins, balanced freshness and a long-lasting, spicy-fruity finish with elegant depth.
Culinary recommendation
Perfect with game dishes, beef stew, crowned lamb, truffle pasta or mature hard cheese.
Vinification
The Merlot grapes, carefully picked by hand, are fermented at controlled temperatures and aged in French barriques for 18 to 24 months. The long aging process on fine yeast gives the wine additional finesse, aging potential and aromatic complexity.
