Tasting note
Very dense, deep dark ruby red, almost black. The bouquet unfolds wonderfully intense, diverse aromas, reminiscent of the fully ripe fruits, cherries, plums, dried flowers, compote as well as the very finest spices, tobacco and cedar. Its aroma spectrum is immense but delicate and also reveals the finest mineral notes paired with sweetish-spicy accents. The juicy, optimally integrated tannins leave the impression of power, freshness and elegance on the palate. The sensory impression impresses with a complex, extremely finesse aroma that seduces all the senses right away with a lot of melting and complexity and ends in a long finale full of power and elegance. Indeed, a dense and balsamic primitivo that comes across as wonderfully complex.
Culinary recommendation
The perfect combination with all kinds of meat dishes and spicy dishes. Game, lamb, grilled meats, gigot and roasts go perfectly, but fresh pasta with a strong sauce, aged cheeses and spicy Asian dishes also go well with it.
