Tasting note
The llum is deep ruby red. On the nose, elegant fruit aromas of raspberries and black cherries as well as sweet spicy notes and mineral accents inspire. On the palate, the wine is freshly fruity with lots of raspberries, some orange zest, plums and fine spicy notes. The well-integrated acidity and noticeable minerality give the wine a wonderful elegance. A top wine with lots of drinking flow, which wonderfully reflects the Porrera terroir.

Goes well with Spanish specialties, grilled meats, risottos, stews, cheese
Vinification
The vines, which are on average 20-25 years old, grow in the south-east-facing locations of “Les Sentius” and “El Bosc” on typical Llicorella soils, with slate and sandy areas. After manual harvesting, the grapes are fermented separately on the skins for 21 days at cool temperatures. The aging takes place in amphoras for 6 months. The wine is bottled unfiltered. Only 786 bottles of the first 2022 vintage were produced. “Llum” means something like “light.” With this wine, Adrià wants to “spotlight” the region's autochthonous grape varieties and achieve the maximum expression of the terroir
