About the wine

Tasting note
The Nebbiolo is a sparkling ruby red. The nose is dominated by aromas of red cherries, raspberries, currants, some rose petals, violets and spicy notes of cinnamon and blood orange. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, with lots of red fruit, a wonderful harmony between fruit, acidity and tannins and a long-lasting and spicy finish. A very balanced Nebbiolo and a great accompaniment to the meal.

Goes well with veal, stews, pasta dishes, pizza, game fowl, cheese
Vinification
The Nebbiolo grapes come from the “Coste di Rose” vineyard in the municipality of Barolo and are rooted there on calcareous soils with sand and clay at 250 meters above sea level. The location is negative of 30% and faces south-east. All vines are cultivated according to organic guidelines. After manual harvesting, the grapes are destemmed, carefully mashed and fermented with natural yeasts at controlled temperatures. The aging takes place in 500 liter tonneaux for 6 months.
