About the wine
Ca' del Baio is an old family business owned by the Grasso family. It is now run by Giulio and Luciana and their three daughters Valentina, Paola and Federico. The total of 28 hectares of vineyards are located in the municipalities of Treiso and Barbaresco.

Tasting note
Light garnet red, typical bouquet with notes of cherries, plums and violets, accompanied by hints of licorice and mushrooms, elegant on the palate, with supple tannins and medium richness.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with braised roasts, lamb, giblets and game dishes as well as hard cheese.
Vinification
Temperature-controlled fermentation in steel tanks for approximately 15 days. Subsequent aging for 12 months in large oak barrels.
