Tasting note
Medium cherry red. Typical grape variety on the nose with notes of wood and licorice. Mineral and very fruity. Voluptuous, tasty and with a very long-lasting aftertaste, characterized by the mineral and balsamic Garnacha aroma characteristic of our area. A very complex, round and balanced wine. With this wine, the essence of the Garnacha vine of this dry terroir with its vineyards that are over sixty years old is captured in the most natural and respectful way possible. Bottling without filtration and fining.
Culinary recommendation
Various meat dishes, semi-hard cheese and grilled fish, paella.
Vinification
The grapes were selected plot by plot and cold mashed in tanks for a week before fermentation. This was followed by natural fermentation with the yeast present in the grapes over a period of three weeks, without the use of any additives or corrective measures. After malolactic fermentation, the wine aged in French oak barrels for a total of 14 months. The wine was bottled without filtering or clarification.
