About the wine
The former Weingut zur Sonne has existed since 1849 and was a mixed agricultural farm with only a few vines for a long time. Only the third generation began bottling wine and concentrating on viticulture. Today, Christian and Francisca Obrecht run the estate, renamed Weingut Obrecht, in the fifth generation and brought in new ideas early on — they in the vineyard, he in the cellar. The 7.5 ha of our own vineyards are cultivated in a biodynamic and Demeter certified manner, and a further 7 ha come from organic farming by relatives. Even in the cellar, vinification is consistently biodynamic before the wines are clearly divided into different lines.

Tasting note
Notes of raspberry and strawberry with a hint of red cherry. Fruity and fresh with a sparkling elegance.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with an aperitif and Asian cuisine.
Vinification
This salmon-colored sparkling wine is made from only the best Pinot Noir grapes and — as in Champagne — fermented in the bottle using traditional methods and shaken by hand.
