About the wine
Top wine from Maremma. Only around 30,000 bottles of this wine are produced annually. After spontaneous fermentation, this wine is aged in barriques for 18 months and then left to rest in the bottle for 8 months. Intense bouquet of dark berries, soft tannins, full, long and very persistent. Enormous terroir wine with a very long shelf life.

Tasting note
The fruity scent spectrum of Grattamacco Bolgheri DOC of fruit compote, spices and tobacco shows aromatic complexity and plenty of pleasure potential. The dominant notes of black cherry, black plum and black pepper create their individual texture. Strong body and dominant acidity result in the fruity red wine, which harmoniously shows a lot of character and class with fine tannins in the mouth.

The following period is the ideal time to enjoy this wine: Now until 2029. Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: Grattamacco Bolgheri DOC goes perfectly with pizza with mushrooms, Gruyère burgers and red meat.
