About the wine

The “Galil Syrah” shows deep scents of currants, dark plums, ripe cherries and a hint of mint and tobacco at the end of the nose. The taste reveals a full-bodied wine with lots of spice on the middle palate, followed by an elegant and persistent finish. Strong oak aromas and butter notes take over the feeling and a lasting impression at the end. The “Galil Syrah” is produced exclusively from Syrah grapes grown on vineyards at altitudes of 600 to 1000 meters on the Golan Heights. After harvesting and pressing, the wine is aged in stainless steel barrels for six months to preserve its fruity character. This attractive Syrah can be enjoyed from the moment you buy it and remains in excellent drinking condition for up to 5 years. Pair the wine with roast beef, grilled lamb chops with garlic and basil, or sautéed mixed mushrooms.
