About the wine
The encounter between Prior (Pinot Nero) and Cabernet Cortis (Cabernet Franc), grown 750 m above sea level on clayey and rocky soils, produces a red wine with a fine and deep profile that combines tension and harmony.

Tasting note
In the glass, it shows an intense ruby red color. The bouquet is reminiscent of herbal and spicy notes, alpine herbs and forest soil, with sophisticated leather aromas that unfold when the wine is opened. On the palate, it is firm and elegant, supported by a restrained alcohol content (13% vol.), with supple tannins and a naturally evolving persistence that leaves a lasting impression of freshness and depth.

Goes well with game, roasts, mushrooms, truffles, cheese
Vinification
Gentle destemming and alcoholic fermentation on the skins for 2 weeks; after stripping, the wine ages in stainless steel tanks for malolactic fermentation, 12 months in used barriques with bâtonnage up to three times a week, followed by a further 12 months in the bottle.
