Franciacorta Brut Riserva Èlen DOCG 2018 - Caruna

The Caruna winery was founded in 2000 when the Caruna family acquired a dilapidated 19th century farmhouse and 13 hectares of land on the southern slopes of Monte Orfano in Franciacort. With a production of around 30,000 bottles per year, Caruna follows the principles of organic and integrated viticulture. The house's philosophy, “Naturally Chic”, is reflected both in aesthetics and in wine production, highlighting the natural beauty and goodness of the land and the resulting wine. Riserva Èlen is the top creations of Azienda Caruna. Made from 100% Chardonnay, this Franciacorta ages on the lees for over 18 months before disgorging. With a dosage of less than 5g/l, the mineral and salty note characteristic of the Monte Orfano terroir is retained. The result is a full-bodied, intense and balanced sparkling wine with distinctive minerality, fine melting and lively freshness.
