About the wine
The fertile and sunny landscapes of Piedmont give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Monchiero Carbone conjures up this white wine with refinement and sensitivity. With the first-class Favorita Langhe DOC, which was produced in 2017, you will definitely have a lot of fun.

Tasting note
Francesco Monchiero has focused his vineyard entirely on local grape varieties: Arneis, Barbera, Nebbiolo. Another local specialty is Favorita, also known as Furmentin, which alludes to the color of the ripe berries, which is yellow like ripe grain. Francesco planted this variety for the first time in 2004 on his sandiest and driest soils. Today, it produces a fresh-floral white that impresses with its mineral race and its lively and well-integrated acidity.
Culinary recommendation
This favorite is ideal as an aperitif and goes well with puff pastry, small omelets, vegetable risottos, steamed fish and egg dishes.
Vinification
Favorita grapes are carefully picked by hand and gently pressed. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
