Tasting note
Deep dark purple color The nose is opened up by scents of dark wild berries, mulberries, white pepper, sweet spices and fresh thyme. On the palate, you can see cherries and crunchy plums. Its spicy tannins make this Dolcetto a great accompaniment to the meal.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with traditional Piedmontese dishes such as tajarin with mushrooms or a tender rabbit ragout, but also wonderful with antipasti with salami, aged cheese and marinated vegetables. The fresh fruit and fine spiciness of the wine also go perfectly with a simple stone oven pizza or a grilled tuna steak. A versatile companion that charmingly complements both rustic and elegant cuisine.
