Tasting note
The wine has a clear golden yellow color. On the nose, aromas of yellow grapefruit, green figs and ripe dates develop, accompanied by subtle herbal and smoky notes. On the palate, it is elegant and finely structured with a refreshing citrus note, intense minerality and a long, textured finish.
Culinary recommendation
Great with grilled fish, seafood, Asian cuisine and goat cheese.
Vinification
The grapes come from vines that are over 20 years old and grow on ferruginous limestone (Terra Rossa). After manual harvesting, there is a maceration period followed by spontaneous fermentation. 60% of the aging takes place in large wooden Stockinger barrels and 40% in stainless steel tanks, with long yeast contact. The wine is brought to market after a maturing period of around nine months.
