About the wine
Dingač Kiridžija 2021 captures the bold character of the Plavac Mali grape from the rugged Dingač vineyard. Crafted with care, it offers a structured yet vibrant profile, balancing fresh red fruit with smooth tannins. It’s an authentic, approachable red that reveals the passion behind Kiridžija’s hands-on winemaking.
Tasting note
A strong, full-bodied red wine that is bursting with juicy dark berries, spicy notes and hints of granite, leather and sun-kissed soil. A great wine, with a shelf life of up to 20 years.
Culinary recommendation
Ideal accompaniment to roast beef, bistecca fiorentina, or hearty game dishes.
Vinification
The selection of the grapes, immediately after harvesting, is done by hand in order to optimally preserve the quality of the product. After being pressed and destemmed, the grapes are then fermented in wooden vats at a controlled temperature (25 - 26°C) using only natural yeasts. At the end of alcoholic fermentation, some of the wine matures in 24 months in French oak barrels.
