About the wine
The private sparkling wine cellar Reinecker is located in the wine town of Auggen in the heart of the Markgräflerland region. Winegrowing was carried out here as early as the 8th century at the time of Charlemagne and wine has always been grown in the vaulted cellar of the Reinecker family. Since 1987, all wines have been refined into top sparkling wines under the direction of Herbert Reinecker. The result is traditional, classic and very elegant sparkling wines with the highest quality standards.

Tasting note
As the name suggests, this sparkling wine is a classic champagne cuvée with the three most important varieties of the French region, which serves as a stylistic model here. It is also the most sophisticated sparkling wine from the Reinecker winery. Bright straw yellow, noble yeast notes (toasted bread, brioche) pair with exotic and red fruits and an extremely rich variety of flavors. Wonderfully fresh yet with a complex structure, fine perlage and a long finish with distinct wininess and great elegance!
Culinary recommendation
Due to its somewhat more intense nature and ripe aroma, the cuvée can also accompany stronger fish dishes in addition to rich starters. It also goes well with discreet, not too sweet desserts.
Vinification
Separate harvesting and vinification of each grape variety. Only wines from the best locations are used for this cuvée. Temperature-controlled fermentation in small steel tanks, the best wines (up to 20%), including Chardonnay, in small, mostly older oak barrels. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle (Méthode Champenoise). The sparkling wine matures in the bottle for at least another 3 years before it is shaken and disgorged.
