About the wine
Picturesque and blooming landscapes of Piedmont give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Bricco Maiolica conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. With the fine Cumot Nebbiolo d'Alba DOC from 2014, you will positively surprise your guests.

Tasting note
Intense garnet red with orange reflections, typical of aged wines. Elegant and complex on the nose with aromas of ripe cherries, raspberries, wilted roses and violets as well as notes of sweet spices, tobacco and leather. Dry and structured on the palate, with powerful, well-integrated tannins, accompanied by notes of berries, licorice and vanilla. Freshness and minerality make for a long, harmonious finish.
Culinary recommendation
Perfect with grilled red meats, game, braised meats and aged cheeses. Also excellent with typical Piedmontese dishes such as braised beef in Barolo or tajarin with wild boar ragout.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and subjected to traditional winemaking with prolonged maceration to optimally extract the tannins and aromas of Nebbiolo. The wine is then aged in oak barrels for at least 18 months and then in the bottle for a further months before being sold to achieve an ideal balance between structure and softness.
