Tasting note
Light straw yellow in the glass with light green reflections. The nose smells intensely of yellow fruits, grassy aromas backed by exotic notes such as lychee and passion fruit. Wonderfully fruity on the palate with fresh, lively acidity. A typical Sauvignon Blanc from Constantia that brings the flair of South Africa into the glass!
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with Asian spicy, seafood, saltwater fish, freshwater fish.
Vinification
Twice a year, thoroughbred winemaker Leo Hillinger spends a month in South Africa, where he vinifies “Constantia HILL” together with Alexander Waibel and winemaker Justin Van Wyk. Constantia Hill white is fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks.
