About the wine

Tasting note
Intense, shiny ruby red with purple reflections. Typical Primitivo bouquet of cassis and dark wild berries. Deliciously spicy notes of meadow flowers and ripe cherries. Full on the palate and pleasantly velvety at the same time, with the typical fruit sweetness of the variety. A long finale rounds off the whole thing wonderfully.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpöstler-Tipp: Goes perfectly with risotto, red meat and spicy hard cheese. Our recommendation: The perfect drinking temperature for the red wine is slightly chilled 15°-18°C. The recommended enjoyment phase of this wine is in the following period: 1-4 years.
Vinification
After destemming, it is followed by a traditional, short mash fermentation at a controlled temperature, with multiple pumping for better dye and tannin extraction. The wine then matures in stainless steel tanks until bottling.
