Tasting note
This wine impresses with its very intense cherry red color. On the nose, it reveals fine floral notes of violets and fruity aromas of red currant jam. On the palate, it is light and enchanting, with seamless development and lasting freshness. An elegant and balanced treat.
Vinification
The wine was left on the grape skins for five days to allow more intensive contact with the skin. Fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature at 25ºC. The malolactic fermentation took place both in stainless steel and in secondary barrels, which contributed to the development of complex aromas. The alcoholic fermentation lasted a total of ten days. The wine was aged in an interesting way: Around 60% of the wine matured in secondary barrels over a period of ten months, while the rest remained in stainless steel tanks. Particularly remarkable is the fact that the Moneu grape variety has partially matured in tanks and amphoras, which gives the wine an additional flavor dimension. This process contributed significantly to the development of the unique personality of this wine, which is characterized by its freshness, liveliness and juicy fruit aromas.
