About the wine
Brigitte Rullier's estate comprises 30 hectares of vines on a prime hillside (clay-limestone soil) and on the high plateau with chalky sandy ground. The vines have an average age of 30 years. Brigitte Rullier cultivates her vines close to nature and presses them traditionally. The entire Château Dalem production is bottled on the estate and sold through the Bordeaux wine trade. Year after year, Château Dalem is in the top ranks when it comes to tastings.

Tasting note
Its rich ruby red crowns every festive occasion with style and magic. You won't find this shade in any color palette. The refreshing scent spectrum of fruit compote, spices and tobacco plays virtuously with your sense of smell. Afterwards, playful nuances of black cherry, black plum and black pepper will resolutely and consciously convince your taste buds. With subdued, finely developed tannins, a strong body and dominant acidity, this fruity red wine shows its flawless structure.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: The red wine tastes best at a slightly chilled 16°-18°C. The wine should be enjoyed during this period: 6 - 15 years after harvest. Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: Goes well with pizza with mushrooms, ribeye steak and Gruyère burgers.
