About the wine
Miguel Torres, born in 1941 as the son of a winemaker, is an important figure in viticulture. Since the 1960s, he has revolutionized Spanish wine with his pioneering spirit and has made a big difference through his numerous books on the subject of wine.

Tasting note
Cherry red color with garnet red accents. Delightful, full bouquet with notes of dark fruits, chocolate and dried plums. On the palate, it is dense, juicy and with silky tannins. A full, juicy crianza with fruit, body and color: as unique as the night sky in Ribera del Duero.
Culinary recommendation
Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: Goes perfectly with polenta, barbecue and pizza. Our recommendation: Drink this red wine at a slightly chilled 16°-18°C. The following period is the ideal phase of enjoyment of this wine: Now until 2022.
Vinification
At an altitude of 895 meters, you can almost touch the stars and form the clouds. The evening air is intense and fragrant. And the sun illuminates the country in all its glory. Celeste was born here, the first Ribera del Duero wine from the Torres family! About 15-20 days on the mash to get out additional aromas and color, then the temperature-controlled fermentation in steel tanks takes about 1 week. The Celeste Crianza is then aged for 12 months in French and American wooden barrels (20% of which is new wood). Before it is sold, it ages in the bottle for another 12 months.
